Upon detection of any defective sidewalk, curb and gutter, drive pad or curb ramps, within one year from the date of construction, the Mayor shall cause a notice to be served upon the bonded contractor or bonded property owner directing that repairs and/or replacement shall be accomplished within a designated period of time. Failure to comply with the terms of this notice shall cause forfeiture of bond.
