§ 6-5-3-2 STREET LINES ESTABLISHED.
   (A)   Future street lines (building setback lines) are hereby established within which it shall be unlawful to erect buildings, or to make alterations to buildings of any kind, such alterations amounting to 50% of the value of the building, the value to be determined as of the date the alterations are made, or to erect any structure, or to make alterations to any structure, such alterations amounting to 50% of the structure, the value to be determined as of the date the alterations are made, including, but not confined to derricks, windmills, silos, motion picture screens, advertising structures or solid walls, or any other structure, edifice, or building or any nature or kind whatsoever; to establish any well, whether for water, oil or other hydrocarbon products, or to make excavation or install any subsurface structure of any kind.
   (B)   Such prohibition shall not apply to trees, agricultural crops, open fences, or public utilities installed under authority of law, or any building, structure, well, excavation or subsurface structure existing on the effective date of §§ 6-5-3-1 et seq.
