Nothing contained in §§ 6-5-2-1 et seq. shall in any manner affect pending action for violation of those ordinances repealed herein or sections or subsections thereof, as prosecutions for prior violations shall be governed, prosecuted and punished under the ordinances existing at the time such violations were committed.
