Applicant must notify all residents and businesses directly affected by permit activities that have a duration of longer than two days at least two days prior to commencing permit activities. When working in a street or sidewalk, applicant must notify all affected residents and business owners on both sides of the block that work is to occur. Notification should be through a flyer delivered to each residence or business or by the use of an electronic message board near the work site one week in advance. Flyers shall include a summary of work to be performed, traffic control set-up, dates and time of activities, and name and telephone number of the applicant’s representative.
