The Chief of Corrections/Detention shall establish by regulation a schedule of fees, procedures for the deduction of money credited to the account of an inmate for medical and mental health care costs, disclosure of inmate medical insurance and government medical assistance, and exemptions of inmates with certain medical conditions from co-payments and such other matters necessary to implement this ordinance. A public hearing shall be held to receive public comment on the proposed regulations. Notice of the hearing shall be published for two consecutive weeks in a newspaper of general circulation in Bernalillo County, New Mexico and shall be posted at the BCDC for two consecutive weeks prior to the hearing. The final regulation shall be filed with the City Clerk.
