(A) Whenever any unclaimed personal property which a finder has left with the city has been unclaimed by the true owner and has been in the possession of the city for more than 90 days, the city shall send written notification to the finder. The notification shall indicate that the finder may take possession of the property if he claims it within 30 days of the date on the written notification. The notification shall indicate where the property may be claimed.
(B) If personal property is not claimed by the true owner or the finder, as provided for in this article, it may be disposed of as provided for in Sections 29-1-13 through 29-1-15 NMSA 1978.
