For the purpose of this article, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
FINDER. Any person who discovers and takes possession of another's personal property, after the true owner has lost such property. Provided, however, that "finder" does not mean any law enforcement officer or employee of the city who takes possession of such property under the authority of law.
PROPERTY or PERSONAL PROPERTY. Every-thing that is subject to ownership except real property. "Personal property" includes money. For the purposes of this article, animals are not considered to be personal property.
