(A) At the time schematic design studies are presented to the city, the design professional shall notify the Mayor in writing of the energy systems on which life-cycle cost analysis is to be conducted and the computer program that will be utilized for the analysis. The Mayor must accept in writing the choice of energy systems for life-cycle cost analysis prior to preparation of such analysis. Provided, however, that if professional design services have not been retained, the person responsible for design of the structure shall notify the Mayor in writing of the energy systems on which life-cycle cost analysis is to be conducted.
(B) The procedures for complying with the provisions of this article shall be as outlined in City Life-Cycle Analysis Reference Manual.
