For the purpose of this article, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
ACT. The Renewable Energy Financing District Act, NMSA § 5-18-1 et seq.
OWNER or PROPERTY OWNER. The person who is listed as the owner of real property in the district on the current property tax assessment roll, and who is in fact the legal owner of said real property.
RENEWABLE ENERGY IMPROVEMENT. An eligible photovoltaic, solar thermal, battery storage, geothermal or wind energy system permanently installed on real property.
