3-3-3: LICENSE REQUIRED, TERM, FEES:
It shall be unlawful for any retailer to sell, trade, barter or dispose of beer within the city without first having obtained a license therefor from the city council as hereinafter provided. (Ord. 116, 6-14-1935)
   (A)   All licenses issued under this chapter shall terminate at twelve o'clock (12:00) midnight on December 31 of each year. (Ord. 318, 11-13-1980)
   (B)   Retailer's license fee for the sale only of bottled and canned beer, none of which is consumed on the premises where sold, shall be as set by resolution pursuant to section 1-5-3 of this code, and where such bottled or canned beer is consumed on the premises where sold, the license fee shall be as set by resolution pursuant to section 1-5-3 of this code. If the license is granted between January 1 and July 1, the applicant must pay the full annual license fee. If the license is granted between July 1 and December 31, the applicant must pay one-half (1/2) of the annual license fee.
   (C)   Retailer's license fee for the sale of draught and bottled or canned beer, or draught beer only, shall be as set by resolution pursuant to section 1-5-3 of this code. If the license is granted between January 1 and July 1, the applicant must pay the full annual license fee. If the license is granted between July 1 and December 31, the applicant must pay one-half (1/2) of the annual license fee. (Ord. 142, 9-29-1947; amd. Ord. 375, 5-11-1995)
