(A) Form Of Application: Any person required by this chapter or chapter 7, title 3 of this code to be licensed shall make application on the form provided to the city clerk, acting for the gas fitters examining board, for the examination for a certificate of competency and pay the examination fee. (B) Fee Set By Resolution: The applicant shall pay to the city clerk at the time of making application an examination fee as set by resolution pursuant to section 1-5-3 of this code. (Ord. 172, 1-9-1957; amd. Ord. 375, 5-11-1995)
(C) Registration For Apprentice Gas Fitters: Apprentice gas fitters shall not be required to be examined but shall be registered with the board and shall maintain their certificate cards showing classification. The board shall notify the city clerk of this registration.
(D) Placement In General Fund: All monies derived from the payment of examination fees shall be placed in the general fund. (Ord. 172, 1-9-1957)
