It shall be unlawful for any person, other than a certified peace officer, to carry a firearm in any city park, regardless of whether or not the person is duly licensed by the state to carry a concealed handgun.

Any vandalism or destruction on and of city loaned, leased or owned property shall be a Class C misdemeanor offense, and violation shall be subject to a fine.

It shall be unlawful for any person to intentionally or knowingly use a skateboard, roller skates or in-line skates, in or upon any prohibited area of a city park, building or facility, as determined by the Director of Recreation and Tourism and designated by proper signage.

(A) It shall be unlawful for any person to camp, within the confines of any public park, public recreation area or city facility located in the city, without express permission by the Recreation and Tourism Director and it shall be in conjunction with approved events.
(B) Camping shall be defined to include sleeping or living overnight in a temporary, portable or mobile shelter or vehicle, including tent, but not excluding sleeping in the open air without a shelter.

(D) Such fine for violation of § 92.05 of this chapter shall not exceed $500 per occurrence unless the vandalism involves fire or a health and safety issue, in which case the fine shall not exceed $2,000 per occurrence. Such criminal charge shall not bar further civil proceedings by the city in applicable cases.
