The city streetlighting rate is applicable to all streetlights served with electricity by the light department including traffic signals and recreational lighting.

(1) Energy charge (all kWh). $0.0909 for service from January 1, 2018, through December 31, 2018; $0.0946 from January 1, 2019, through December 31, 2019; $0.0974 for service from January 1, 2020, through December 31, 2020; $0.1004 for service from January 1, 2021, through December 31, 2021; $0.1034 for service from January 1, 2022, through December 31, 2022; and $0.1065 for service beginning January 1, 2023.
(2) Fixed charge. $7.74 per month for service from January 1, 2018, through December 31, 2018; $8.04 per month from January 1, 2019, through December 31, 2019; $8.28 per month for service from January 1, 2020, through December 31, 2020; $8.53 per month for service from January 1, 2021, through December 31, 2021; $8.79 per month for service from January 1, 2022, through December 31, 2022; and $9.05 for service beginning January 1, 2023.

(1) The monthly charges are based on mounting the high pressure sodium light on a suitable existing pole and the furnishing of up to 100 feet of service wire.
(2) Where a new pole must be installed, the customer shall make arrangements with the utilities department for payment of the additional facilities and labor costs incurred in the installation.

Electric utility rates shall be reviewed at least biennially and shall be revised as necessary to keep revenues reasonably in balance with anticipated expenditures. Excess funds may be carried forward from year to year in the respective accounts. This rate review shall continue the fair and equitable distribution of all costs to all of the system’s users.

WATER
The schedule of rates to be charged by the city for water furnished by the city to consumers thereof shall be as set out in this subchapter. For new non-seasonal accounts,
MONTHLY AVERAGE means the average monthly water usage over 12 consecutive months. For seasonal and irrigation accounts, MONTHLY AVERAGE means the average water usage during two or more consecutive months of usage.
