50-4-1: TEMPORARY DELEGATION OF AUTHORITY:
   A.   Purpose: This chapter provides direction to the City's executive officers regarding the temporary delegation of authority.
   B.   Executive Officer Defined: An executive officer shall refer to the Deputy to the Mayor, Mayor's Chief of Staff or any Department Director.
   C.   Authority To Delegate: When necessary, the Mayor or any Department Director may delegate authority to an appropriate subordinate to act on his or her behalf.
   D.   Made In Writing; Distribution: Such delegation of authority shall be made in writing and distributed to all executive officers.
   E.   City Attorney Approval: The City Attorney shall approve all agreements and contracts signed under the authority of this chapter as to form. (2019 Compilation)
