§ 152.02 PERMITS.
   (A)    No mobile home shall be placed within the limits of the village as of the date of the passage of this chapter without first securing a permit. An application form for such permit shall be obtained from the Village Hall and shall include the following information:
      (1)   Name and phone number of applicant;
      (2)   Name of the person owning the real estate where mobile home will be placed;
      (3)   Name of the person owning the mobile home;
      (4)   Name of persons occupying said mobile home;
      (5)   Description of the mobile home including year, model and identification number;
      (6)   Type of underpinning;
      (7)   Type of sanitary sewer connection;
      (8)   Roof pitch not less than 3/12;
      (9)   List of any defects in the exterior;
      (10)   Lot size and square feet of the lot area;
      (11)   Tentative date mobile home will be placed in village; and
      (12)   Pictures of all sides.
   (B)   If the application is approved, the application permit shall be issued and shall be filed with the Village Clerk. After approval date of permit, the owner has 45 days to move mobile home. Once mobile home is set, the owner has 30 days to hook up mobile home and be compliant.

§ 152.03 SIZE OF SITE.
   (A)   No mobile home occupied for dwelling, sleeping or business purpose shall be located upon a lot which shall be less than 4,000 square feet area, except in a mobile home park which shall comply with the provisions of the Illinois Compiled Statutes.
   (B)   (1)   There shall be only one immobilized mobile home or mobile home per lot in the village.
      (2)   A mobile home may not share the same lot as a house.
   (C)   No mobile home occupied for dwelling or sleeping shall be located within 30 feet from the traveled portion of any public street.
   (D)   Units that are less than ten feet by 50 feet can only be dwelt in for a maximum of 30 days.
   (E)   The width of the mobile home must be 12 feet if new or 14 feet for all others.

§ 152.04 CONNECTION TO WATER AND SEWER SYSTEM.
   (A)    All mobile homes shall be connected to the village sanitary sewer system by a water- and odor-tight connection which is approved by the Health and Property Committee Representative and the Village President.
   (B)   All mobile homes shall be connected to the village water system by a connection approved by the Health and Property Committee Representative and the Village President.
   (C)   No water and sewer hookup shall be allowed without prior issuance of a certificate of compliance.

§ 152.05 CONCRETE PADS AND ACRYLONITRILE BUTADIENE STYRENE (ABS) PIER PADS.
   (A)   All immobilized mobile homes shall be placed on either 14 feet wide by 60 feet long or two reinforced concrete runners four feet wide by 60 feet in length or on concrete piers approved by the Health and Property Committee Representative and the Village President.
   (B)   The concrete pad must consist of four inches of reinforced concrete or six inches of concrete.
   (C)   The acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS) pads are placed on compressed rock as a base for mobile home piers. Pads are to be installed flat side down, ribbed side up. Concrete blocks must be centered on ABS pad.

§ 152.06 TIE DOWNS.
   Each mobile home shall be tied down in accordance with the state’s Mobile Home Tie Down Act (210 ILCS 120) and the rules and regulations of the Department promulgated pursuant thereto. The tie downs and anchors shall be installed prior to the issuance of a certificate of compliance and approved by the Health and Property Committee Chairperson and the Village President.

§ 152.07 SKIRTING.
    Each mobile home shall have a hard-surface skirting enclosure around the entire perimeter of the mobile home. Underpinning shall consist of material manufactured specifically for that purpose.

§ 152.08 FIRE EXTINGUISHER.
   All mobile homes within the village shall be equipped with at least one dry chemical classification A.B.C. fire extinguisher and one smoke detector in working condition.
