§ 5-502. Board of Surveyors.
   Subject to the provisions of this charter the Board of Surveyors shall exercise the powers and perform the duties vested in and imposed upon it by statute or ordinance.
ANNOTATION
   Sources:   Act of June 25, 1919, P.L. 581, Article VI, Section 4; Ordinances of the City of Philadelphia, March 17, 1884, and December 31, 1919.
   Purposes:   The historical and technical functions of the Board of Surveyors are continued substantially as at present subject to provisions of the Charter of general application and the powers and duties vested in the City Planning Commission. See Section 4-600 [renumbered to subsection 4-604(a)] and 4-603 [renumbered to subsection 4-604(d)].
