§ 31.037 DESIGNATION AND DELEGATION OF DUTIES, POWERS.
   Whenever there is a question as to the respective duties or powers of any appointed officer of the village, it shall be settled by the Village President. The President shall have the power to delegate to any such officer any duty which is to be performed when no specific officer has been directed to perform that duty.

§ 31.038 BOND.
   Before entering upon the duties of his office, the Village President shall give a bond with sureties to be approved by the Board of Trustees conditioned upon the faithful performance of his duties, in the sum of at least $3,000; or such higher sum as may be directed by the Board of Trustees or required by state statute.

§ 31.039 OATH; COMPENSATION.
   He shall take the oath of office prescribed by statute; and shall receive such compensation as may be set from time to time by the Board of Trustees.

§ 31.040 PRESIDENT PRO TEM.
   During a temporary absence or disability of the Village President, the Board of Trustees shall elect one of its members to act as President Pro Tem, who during the absence or disability of the President shall perform the duties pertaining to the office.

§ 31.050 ELECTION; OATH.
   The Village Clerk shall be appointed by the Village President with the concurrence of the Board of Trustees, and shall take the statutory oath of office.

§ 31.051 BOND.
   The Village Clerk shall give a bond with sureties to be approved by the Board of Trustees, conditioned upon the faithful performance of his or her duties as provided by statute.
