ADOPTING ORDINANCE

ORDINANCE NO. 92-03

AN ORDINANCE REPEALING THE "REVISED MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE VILLAGE OF PEOTONE OF 1970" AND ADOPTING THE VILLAGE OF PEOTONE "CODE OF ORDINANCES"

   WHEREAS, numerous changes and additions in the "Revised Municipal Code of the Village of Peotone of 1970" have been made from time to time since the last revision, consolidation, and adoption of the prior Municipal Code; and,

   WHEREAS, it is necessary that such ordinances should be revised and that defects be corrected, and that amendments and additions thereto should be enacted; and,

   NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Peotone, Illinois, that the "Revised Municipal Code of the Village of Peotone of 1970" is hereby repealed. The Code of Ordinances of the Village of Peotone as published by American Legal Publishing Corporation is hereby adopted in lieu thereof. From the date of passage of the "Code of Ordinances" and each date thereafter, all provisions of the Village of Peotone Ordinance Code shall be referred to as contained in the revised code which is hereby ordained and passed.
