§ 31.146 DUTIES.

   The Village Auditor shall prepare all financial statements requested by the village and required by law and, in any event, shall prepare the certified annual reports required by law.

§ 31.147 COMPENSATION.

   The Village Auditor shall be compensated either on an annual retainer basis or a per hour of work basis agreed to by the appointed Village Auditor and the Village President and Board of Trustees.

VILLAGE ENGINEER

§ 31.160 ENGINEER TO BE ENGAGED FOR ADVICE OR REPRESENTATION.

   The Village President with the consent of the Board of Trustees may from time to time engage a Village Engineer to represent or advise the village on engineering matters; and he may likewise engage a special engineer to advise or represent the village on special matters or to assist the Village Engineer for the village.

§ 31.161 DUTIES.

   The Village Engineer shall advise the Village President and Board of Trustees generally and specially on engineering matters as the same shall pertain to the program and problems of the village.
