All CERT equipment and supplies shall remain the property of the City of North Royalton. The CERT members shall maintain a current inventory of all equipment and supplies. Uniforms and personal items shall not be inventoried once they are issued to CERT members.

The CERT shall formulate such Policies and Procedures necessary for the governance and efficient operation of the CERT. Annually, the CERT Director will submit the current statement of Policies and Procedures to the Director of Public Safety or their designee for review and approval, subject to the acceptance by the Mayor.

The City may accept donations to the CERT from private sources including but not limited to private citizens, corporations, non-governmental organizations, (NGOs), charitable non-profit corporations and other similar entities. Donations may be in cash or in kind. The Finance Department, upon request, will issue a charitable donation receipt to any donor.

Any person who violates Section 1630.05 and fails to return the North Royalton CERT Identification Card will be subject to a replacement fee which will be determined by the Director of Public Safety.
