1630.07 FUNDING AND AUDITS.
   As a sponsored municipal volunteer organization, CERT, through the Chief of the Fire Department, may apply for funding from the City Council in the same manner as other departments subject to the rules and regulations governing all municipal funds and further subject to the review, audit and oversight of the Director of Finance; all books and records of CERT shall be made available to and reviewed at least annually by the Director of Finance and the Finance Committee of Council in conjunction with the budgetary process. No funds of the organization shall be used for any purpose other than the training and retention of volunteers and purchase and maintenance of equipment and supplies necessary to fulfill the stated purpose(s) of CERT. No CERT funds shall be used for or paid to any person or persons serving as a volunteer in CERT with the exception of authorized reimbursements.
