The person(s) actually conducting the electrical inspections shall be state certified to perform the duties required herein and shall be employed and/or replaced at the will of the city.
(B) Requirements of the Position: The electrical inspector shall execute the duties of providing electrical inspections as directed by this ordinance and in accordance with adopted electrical code specifications within the Murray Electric System service area. All electrical inspectors will be self-employed and shall be required to carry a city occupational license.
(D) Termination of contract would require 30-day notice in writing from either party of the contract. Grounds for termina-tion by the Mayor would be unsatisfactory inspections reported to the city or Murray Electric System and customer dissatisfaction with inspectors performance and/or inspector accessibility to customers.
(E) All customers will be given the names and contact methods of inspectors when any permit is obtained that would require an electrical inspection.
