ORDINANCE NO. 750

AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING THE CODIFICATION OF THE ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF MURRAY, KENTUCKY, INCORPORATING VARIOUS REVISIONS IN SAID ORDINANCES, AND PROVIDING THAT SAID ORDINANCE AS SO CODIFIED AND REVISED SHALL CONSTITUTE THE ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF MURRAY, KENTUCKY, REPEALING ANY ORDINANCE OR RESOLUTION IN CONFLICT AND DECLARING SEVERABILITY.

The City of Murray, Kentucky having had under consideration the revision and codification of its general ordinances, and pursuant to KRS 82.080, having advertised that on January 29, 1982, at 4:30 p.m., at the City Hall Council Chambers, the City Council would, at its regular meeting on February ll, 1982, consider the adoption of an ordinance revising and codifying said ordinances, and public notice having been advertised as required by Chapter 424 of the Kentucky Revised Statutes, and said public hearing having been conducted.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF MURRAY:

SECTION I: That said codification with revisions which has been prepared by the American Legal Publishing Company be, and it hereby is adopted as the codification of said ordinances and that said ordinances as so codified and revised shall constitute ordinances of the City of Murray, Kentucky.

SECTION II: That said codification be, and it hereby is, made a part of the public records of the City of Murray, Kentucky.

SECTION III: That any and all ordinances or resolutions in conflict with said codification of ordinances as revised are hereby repealed to the extent of said conflict.

SECTION IV: That all parts and sections of said codification of ordinances are declared severable one from the other and any finding of invalidity of one part or section shall have no bearing or effect on any other parts or sections.

SECTION V: That this ordinance shall be signed by the Mayor, attested by the City Clerk, recorded and published. Same shall be in effect at the earliest time provided by law.
