Sec. 68-3. Ordinances and regulations to be effective in district extensions.
Whenever by law any extension or reduction of the area within the Montgomery County Suburban District takes effect, all regulations and ordinances of general application throughout the district, adopted under section 68-2, as now or hereafter amended, and then in force, shall thereafter be applicable within the area of the Montgomery County Suburban District as so extended or reduced. (Mont. Co. Code 1965, § 47-3.)
Sec. 68-4. Annual levy authorized.
The council is authorized to levy annually against all the assessable property within the Montgomery County Suburban District the sum of not exceeding twelve cents ($0.12) on each one hundred dollars ($100.00) of assessed value of real property other than operating real property of a public utility and thirty cents ($0.30) on each one hundred dollars ($100.00) of assessed value of personal property and operating real property of a public utility. The levies herein authorized shall be upon all property, both real and personal, assessed for county tax purposes within the district and shall be levied and collected as other county taxes are now or may hereafter be, by law, levied and collected, and have the same priority rights, bear the same interest and penalties and in every respect be treated the same as other county taxes. Where such an act or omission is of a continuing nature or is persisted in violation of the provisions of this chapter or of any ordinance, rule or regulation promulgated thereunder, a conviction for one (1) offense shall not be a bar to a conviction for a continuation of such offense subsequent to the first or any succeeding conviction. (Mont. Co. Code 1965, § 47-6; 1927, ch. 692, § 12; 1931, ch. 459, § 13.)
