3-9-1: STATE CERTIFICATE OF REGISTRATION REQUIRED:

No license shall be issued to conduct a barbershop or beauty shop or to practice the occupation of a barber or beautician in the village, to any person who does not have a certificate of registration as a registered barber or beautician issued by the state. (Ord. 608, 10-8-1986)

3-9-2: HEALTH CONDITIONS:

   A.   Premises And Employees:

      1.   Premises: Premises used for barbershop or beauty shop shall be kept in a clean and sanitary condition.

      2.   Employees:

         a.   The employees of such shop must keep themselves clean, both as to person and clothing.

         b.   It shall be unlawful to keep as an employee in any such shop any person afflicted with a contagious disease of any kind.

   B.   Sterilization Of Equipment: Utensils and tools must be sterilized before being used on the patron. (Ord. 608, 10-8-1986)
