Mausoleums or tombs, either wholly or partially above ground, shall be constructed only on lots designated by the Parks and Recreation Director. Plans, specifications, and location of a mausoleum or tomb on a lot are subject to the approval of the Public Works Director.

(A) No plantings of any kind will be permitted either around or on top of grave markers, or in such a manner as to constitute a lot enclosure. Fences around lots are prohibited.
(B) The Parks and Recreation Director shall have the right to enter upon any lot and cut down or remove any tree, shrub, or planting, or any part thereof which is deemed detrimental to the cemetery or unsightly or inconvenient to the public or to adjoining lots and the Parks and Recreation Director shall be authorized to enter upon any lot to make any improvement deemed for the advantage of the grounds.

Artificial flowers or wreaths shall be prohibited, except upon Memorial Day, and shall be removed the day following. Thereafter, the Parks and Recreation Director shall remove such flowers and wreaths, and shall be removed by October 1. Thereafter, the Parks and Recreation Director shall remove such plantings.

No person shall discharge any firearms or have possession of any firearms within the cemetery grounds, except in case of military funerals and on Memorial Day, without the written permission of the Parks and Recreation Director.
