(a) Residential. The expansion charge for a single-family residence for a six-inch sewer tap shall be as established and set forth in the fee schedule in Part One - Title Eleven, Chapter 205 of these codified ordinances. For multi-family apartment complexes for each family unit, the expansion fee shall be as established and set forth in the fee schedule in Part One - Title Eleven, Chapter 205 of these codified ordinances. The charge for a single-family residence and each family unit of a multi-family apartment complex shall be as established and set forth in the fee schedule in Part One - Title Eleven, Chapter 205 of these codified ordinances. The amount of the fees shall be as set by ordinance from time to time.

(b) Business and industrial.
(1) The sewer expansion charge for business and industrial shall be based upon the size of the water meter and shall be as set forth in the fee schedule in Part One, Title Eleven, Chapter 205 of these codified ordinances.
(2) The tap size shall be consistent with good design practice.
(c) Special circumstances. At the discretion of the majority of Council, the expansion charge may be modified in exchange for other considerations such as pipe extensions, pump stations and the like
(d) Expansion of present services. The charge shall be determined from the difference in meter size according to rates defined in divisions (a) and (b) hereof.
