DEPARTMENT OF ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
§ 33.050 ESTABLISHMENT OF DEPARTMENT; ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION TO GOVERN.
   There is hereby created pursuant to the provisions of IC 36-7-12-1 et seq. a Department of Economic Development which shall be under the control of a Commission consisting of five members, which is also hereby created and which shall be known as the City Economic Development Commission.

§ 33.051 POWERS AND DUTIES.
   The Department of Economic Development and the Economic Development Commission shall have the authority to do all acts authorized by IC 36-7-12-1 et seq. and to accomplish the purposes set forth in IC 36-7-12-1 et seq.

§ 33.052 APPOINTMENT OF MEMBERS.
   The three members of the Economic Development Commission shall be appointed as provided by IC 36-7-12-5. The Clerk-Treasurer shall promptly notify the appropriate executive officers and the governing bodies required to make nominations, which said notice, selections, and nominations shall be done pursuant to IC 36-7-12-5 and 36-7-12-9.

LABOR MANAGEMENT RELATIONS COMMISSION
§ 33.075 ESTABLISHMENT.
   There is hereby established an executive department of the city to be known as the Labor Management Relations Commission for the promotion of harmonious and beneficial relations between labor and management in the city.

§ 33.076 MEMBERS.
   The number of individuals to serve on the Labor Management Relations Commission shall not exceed 24 members to be appointed by the Mayor and shall serve without compensation except for actual expenses to be approved by the Mayor. The Commission shall be made up of an equal number of representatives of labor, representatives of management, and representatives of the community in general.
