Any person, firm or corporation who shall violate any provision of this Part IA shall, upon conviction thereof, be sentenced to a fine of not more than $300; and/or to imprisonment for a term not to exceed 90 days. Each day on which a violation shall occur shall be deemed a separate and distinct offense. In addition to the penalties provided herein, the Township may recover reasonable attorney's fees, court costs, court reporter's fees, and other expenses of litigation by appropriate suit at law against the person found to have violated this Part lA or the orders, rules, and regulations issued hereunder.

B. Water Rates, Rents and Charges.
Upon notification by the Township an improved property owner shall obtain a connection permit, and pay the amount established by resolution of the Township Council to the Township as a connection fee.

Should the improved property owner not install the necessary water lateral within 120 days after notification to the property owner, the Township may make the installation and immediately bill the property owner for the cost of such installation or institute court proceedings to require property owner to make such installation or take other action which the Township finds appropriate. Connection to a water main by an improved property owner shall only be made after such installation is approved by the Township Engineer and all permits have been obtained.

1. Quantity Charge. This schedule is applicable to all metered Customers.
Meter Rates - $7.50 Per 1,000 Gallons Per Quarter.
2. Minimum Charge. Except as provided in § 26-126(2) for multiple consumer units, all metered consumers shall be subject to a quarterly minimum charge of $52.50 for the first 7,000 gallons used.

1. As Provided by Township. In those cases where, in the opinion of the Township Engineer, it is impracticable to install a meter at the time a connection is made to the Water system, a flat rate shall be charged until such time as a meter is installed. In such cases the temporary flat rate to apply during this period shall be the quarterly rate of $15 per Consumer Unit.
2. Building Construction Purposes. The flat rate charge for building construc tion purposes shall be $15 per quarter, per unit of construction; the first quarterly payment shall be payable upon application to the Township for Water service. Such charge per quarter shall cover service until the particular unit of construc tion is completed.
3. Temporary Flat Rates. In those cases where, in the opinion of the Township Manager, it is impracticable to install a meter at the time that a connection is made to the Water System, a flat rate shall be charged until such time as a meter is installed. In such cases the temporary flat rate to apply during this period shall be the quarterly rate of $15 per Consumer Unit.

1. Quantity Charge. When more than one Consumer Unit is served through a common water meter, a multiple consumption charge per quarter shall be imposed for such service, which charge shall be calculated in the following manner: (i) the total consumption through such service connection and meter shall be divided by the number of Consumer Units served thereby; (ii) the schedule of water rates, rents and charges established under subsection (1) of § 26-124 shall be applied to the resultant quotient; and (iii) the resultant pro-rata charge for each Consumer Unit shall be multiplied by the number of Consumer Units served through such service connection and water meter to arrive at the total bill for all Consumer Units served through the common meter and service connection.
2. Minimum Quarterly Charge. There shall be charged a minimum quarterly charge for each Consumer Unit as follows:
A. Where two Consumer Units are served through one connection and one meter, each such Consumer Unit shall be charged a minimum charge of $16.50 or 1/2 the bill based on total consumption, whichever is larger.
B. Where three Consumer Units are served through one connection and one meter, each such Consumer Unit shall be charged a minimum charge of $16.50 or 1/2 of the bill based on total consumption whichever is larger.
C. Where four or more Consumer Units are served through one connection and one meter, each such Consumer Unit shall be charged a minimum charge of $16.50 or a proportionate amount based on the total bill, whichever is larger.
