CHAPTER 240
Department of Police
   EDITOR'S NOTE: A Policy Manual and a Manual of Conduct and Discipline, Rules and Regulations, both dated January 1, 1980, were adopted for the Department by Resolution 29-80, passed February 12, 1980.
   The City enters into agreements from time to time with various neighboring municipalities providing for the exchange of information and other needed assistance between the police departments of such municipalities and the City. Copies of the latest relevant legislation may be obtained, at cost, from the Clerk of Council.
   The City executes labor agreements from time to time with recognized representatives of members of the Department of Police, which agreements provide for wages, benefits and conditions of employment for such members. The provisions of this chapter and Chapter 252, therefore, apply only to those members of the Department, and to those subjects, not otherwise provided for in such agreements. Copies of the latest relevant legislation and of such agreements may be obtained, at cost, from the Clerk of Council.
