13-27: OBSTRUCTING PUBLIC OFFICERS AND CITY EMPLOYEES:
No person shall wilfully resist, delay or obstruct any city public officer or city employee in the discharge or attempt to discharge any duty of his/her office, or their official duties as a city employee or officer, or fail to obey any lawful order of any public officer. For purposes of this section a public officer or city employee is a city of Eloy employee performing duties authorized by their job description and employment with the city of Eloy. A violation of this section shall be punishable pursuant to section 13-25.7 of this chapter. (Ord. 15-845, 8-10-2015)
