A. The consumption of marijuana on City owned property, in a public place or open space is prohibited.
B. Penalty Imposed: Any person found guilty of violating any provisions of this Code, except as otherwise provided in this Code, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction thereof, can be punished by a fine not to exceed two thousand five hundred dollars ($2,500.00) or by imprisonment for a period not to exceed six (6) months, or by both such fine and imprisonment. Each day that a violation continues shall be a separate offense punishable as hereinabove described. (Ord. 21-904, 3-22-2021)
