Upon filing of an application for license under this chapter, the common council shall investigate and deny the application if:
A. The applicant is not of good moral character;
B. The applicant is not a qualified elector of the state;
C. The premises or business for which the license to be issued does not comply with the provisions of chapter 5 of this code;
D. The applicant has had a license forfeited or revoked under the provisions of this chapter;
E. The applicant has been convicted of a felony under state or federal law; or
F. The applicant is in arrears in any other occupation tax imposed on any business engaged in. (Ord. 5 § 2(e), 12-19-1949)
