The violation of any provision of this chapter shall constitute a misdemeanor punishable upon conviction by a fine not exceeding $50 or by imprisonment not exceeding 30 days, as provided in G.S. § 14-4. It is hereby made the special duty of the Chief of Police or their designee who may be on duty to coordinate with the Fire Chief or their designee to enforce such penalties.
