(a) The swimming pool rates for pool party rentals shall be:
0-75 persons | $175.00 |
76-100 persons | $200.00 |
101-125 persons | $225.00 |
126-150 persons | $250.00 |
VIP lounge area full day rental | $60.00 |
(b) At least one lifeguard shall be required for each 25 persons in a party (26 persons would require two lifeguards). The fee for each lifeguard shall be fifteen dollars ($15.00) and shall be paid directly to the lifeguards by the party renting the swimming pool. The lifeguard fee is in addition to the swimming pool rental fee paid to the park.
(c) If the pool slide is to be used, an additional lifeguard will be required. The fee shall be fifteen dollars ($15.00) for the lifeguard.
(d) Hours for swimming pool party rentals are from 8:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. and hours for the VIP lounge area rentals are from 12:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

(b) The Superintendent of the Columbiana Exempted Village School District has made a request that the football field, the bleachers, the buildings and the entire area adjacent thereto which is enclosed by a temporary fence during football season be declared to be a nonsmoking place so long as the fence remains in place each year during football season.
(b) As the owner of the Columbiana City Park in which the subject area and facilities are located, the City of Columbiana, by the authority of its Council, hereby resolves, pursuant to the provisions of Ohio R.C. 3794.05, that the football field, the bleachers, the buildings and the entire area adjacent thereto which is enclosed by a temporary fence installed by the Columbiana Exempted Village School District, during football season each successive year, commencing in 2007, shall be and hereby is declared to be an nonsmoking place so long as such fence shall remain in place each year during football season.
(c) Appropriate signage shall be forthwith posted at the location, which signage shall conform to the provisions of Ohio R.C. 3794.06.

(a) Lifeguarding and lifeguarding recertification classes will be held at the Firestone Pool by a certified instructor employed by the city.
(b) The registration fee for a lifeguarding class will be two hundred seventy-five dollars ($275.00) per class, regardless of residency.
(c) Any person who took the initial lifeguarding class who becomes an employee following the class or the next pool season, the employee would receive a two hundred dollars ($200.00) reimbursement which would be condition on being employed for the entire pool season. The reimbursement would take place on the employee final paycheck and furthermore, if the student drops out of the class before the date of the class or cannot pass the pre-class swimming test, they will be issued a full reimbursement. Once the class has started no reimbursement will be granted.
(d) The registration fee for a lifeguarding recertification class shall be forty-two dollars ($42.00) per class for any City of Columbiana-Firestone Pool employee and one hundred fifty dollars ($150.00) for anyone not employed by the City of Columbiana Firestone Pool.

Whoever violates any of the provisions of this chapter is guilty of a minor misdemeanor for a first offense and shall be fined not more than one hundred fifty dollars ($150.00). For any subsequent offense, the offender is guilty of a misdemeanor of the third degree and shall be fined not more than five hundred dollars ($500.00) or imprisoned not more than 60 days, or both. A separate offense shall be deemed committed each day during or on which a violation occurs or continues.
