§ 575.11  Base Line for Easterly Side
   The said base line on the easterly side of Cuyahoga River commences at the center of the stone monument marked R.S. 1, near the center line of River Ave. N.W., produced northwesterly one hundred and forty-eight (148) feet from the intersection of the supposed center line of said River Ave. N.W. with the supposed southerly line of Front Ave. N.W.; thence southeasterly on a straight line near the center line of River Ave. N.W. eleven hundred and twenty-seven and seventy-six one-hundredths (1127.76) feet to a stone monument marked R.S. 2, at the supposed angle in said River Ave. N.W. on the line between original lots 195 and 196; thence deflecting westerly 20 degrees 52 minutes 30 seconds on a straight line, and continuing near the center line of said River Ave. N.W. seven hundred and fifty-nine and sixty-two one-hundredths (759.62) feet to a stone monument marked R.S. 3; thence continuing on the same straight line three hundred and sixty-eight and sixty-eight one-hundredths (368.68) feet to a stone monument marked R.S. 4, near the center of River Ave. N.W.; thence deflecting westerly 17 degrees 44 minutes a distance of two hundred and one and sixty-nine one-hundredths (201.69) feet to a stone monument marked R.S. 5, at the supposed intersection of the center line of Superior Ave. N.W. and Merwin St. N.W.; thence deflecting westerly 55 degrees a distance of five hundred and sixty-seven and fifty-seven one-hundredths (567.57) feet to a stone monument marked R.S. 6; thence deflecting westerly 8 degrees 28 minutes a distance of four hundred and fifty-six and thirty-five one- hundredths (456.35) feet to a stone monument marked R.S. 7, at the intersection of Center St. N.W. and Merwin St. N.W.; thence deflecting easterly 7 degrees 46 minutes 30 seconds a distance of seven hundred and seventy (770) feet to a stone monument marked R.S. 8, at or near the center line of said Merwin St.; thence on the same straight line four hundred and forty-four and thirty one-hundredths (444.30) feet to a stone monument marked R.S. 9, thence deflecting easterly 54 degrees 24 minutes a distance of six hundred and forty- eight and sixty-four one-hundredths (648.64) feet to a stone monument marked R.S. 10, at the supposed angle in said Merwin St. N.W.; thence deflecting easterly 31 degrees 20 minutes a distance of seven hundred and seventy-four and seventy-three one-hundredths (774.73) feet to a stone monument marked R.S. 11, six (6) feet southerly and two (2) feet easterly of the supposed intersection of the center line of Leonard St. N.W. with the easterly line of Columbus Rd. N.W.; thence deflecting northerly 85 degrees 17 minutes a distance of two hundred and ten and six-tenths (210.6) feet to a stone monument marked R.S. 12, in said Leonard St. N.W. and extending a distance of four hundred and nineteen (419) feet to a stone monument marked R.S. 31, at the intersection of the center line of Leonard St. N.W.; thence deflecting westerly 63 degrees 29 minutes a distance of six hundred and sixty- eight and forty-four one-hundredths (668.44) feet to a stone monument marked R.S. 32; thence deflecting easterly 31 degrees 13 minutes a distance of seven hundred and forty-seven and seventy-one one- hundredths (747.71) feet to a stone monument marked R.S. 33; thence deflecting easterly 90 degrees a distance of one hundred and ninety-three and fifty-two one-hundredths (193.52) feet to a stone monument marked R.S. 34; thence deflecting northerly 42 degrees 45 minutes a distance of four hundred and eighty-seven (487) feet to a stone monument marked R.S. 35, on the easterly side of the C. C. C. & St. L. R. R. bridge, and from thence runs in a direct line to a stone monument marked R.S. 39, set in the towing path of the Ohio Canal in or near the westerly line of W. 3rd St.; thence along the Ohio Canal Commission base lines between stones C. C. S. No. 6 and C. C. S. No. 9.
