§ 555.99 Penalty for Code Violations
   Any person who violates any provision of this chapter or regulations promulgated pursuant thereto, for which specific penalty has not been prescribed, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon a first conviction thereof shall be punished by a fine of not less than fifty dollars ($50.00) or more than five hundred dollars ($500.00), or by imprisonment for not more than three (3) months or both. Upon a subsequent conviction thereof, he or she shall be punished by a fine of not less than one hundred dollars ($100.00) or more than one thousand dollars ($1,000.00) or by imprisonment for up to six (6) months or both.
