A. Construction Of Streets, Sidewalks And Public Ways: No person, firm or corporation shall lay any pavement on any public street, sidewalk, alley or other public way without first obtaining a permit in accordance with section 8-2-2 of this code. (2012 Code)
B. Excavations: No excavations or tunneling in any street, alley or other public place may be done without first obtaining a permit in accordance with title 8, chapter 3 of this code. (1995 Code § 3.104)
C. Planting Vegetation On Public Property: No person, firm or corporation shall plant any vegetation on public property without first obtaining a permit in accordance with section 8-2-12 of this code. (2012 Code)
D. Building Permits And Certificates Of Occupancy: No building or structure, including, but not limited to, decks and porches, shall be constructed or altered without first obtaining a building permit and a certificate of occupancy in accordance with the zoning ordinance. (Ord. 486, 8-16-2004)
E. Construction Within Fire Limits: No person, firm or corporation shall construct any building or structure within the fire limits of the village without first obtaining a permit in accordance with section 10-3-2 of this code.
F. Building Moving: No person, firm or corporation shall move any building through or across the public ways of the village without first obtaining a permit in accordance with section 8-2-11 of this code. (2012 Code)
G. Overhanging Signs And Awnings: No person, firm or corporation shall erect or maintain any sign, signboard or rigid canopy without first obtaining a permit in accordance with section 8-4-1 of this code. (1995 Code § 3.106)
H. Drains: No person, firm or corporation shall construct, or permit to be constructed, any drain leading into any drain of the village without first obtaining a permit in accordance with title 8, chapter 5 of this code. (1995 Code § 3.107)
I. Water Connections: No person, firm or corporation shall connect to the village water system without first obtaining a permit in accordance with section 9-1-3 of this code.
J. Water Service: No person, firm or corporation shall receive water from the village water system without first obtaining a permit in accordance with section 9-1-5 of this code.
K. Well Drilling: No person, firm or corporation shall drill any wells within a ten (10) mile radius of the Village without first obtaining a permit in accordance with section 9-1B-1 of this Code.
L. Private Sewage Disposal Systems: No person, firm or corporation shall construct a private sewage disposal system in the Village without first obtaining a permit in accordance with section 9-2-2 of this Code.
M. Building Sewers And Connections: No unauthorized person, firm or corporation shall uncover, make any repairs or openings into, use, alter, or disturb any public sewer or appurtenances thereof without first obtaining a permit in accordance with section 9-2-3 of this Code. (2012 Code)
N. Solicitors: No solicitors may do business in the Village without a certificate of registration first being issued in accordance with chapter 3 of this title. (1995 Code § 3.102; amd. 2012 Code)
O. Golf Carts And UTVs: No person, firm or corporation shall operate any golf cart or UTV on the public ways of the Village without first obtaining a permit in accordance with section 7-3-3 of this Code. (2012 Code; amd. Ord. 621-2017, 3-20-2017)
