Editor’s note:
R.C. § 1901.01 established a Municipal Court in the city. R.C. § 1901.02 extended the jurisdiction of such Court, in addition to the city, to the city and the Village of Sheffield in Lorain County.
(a) The positions of Clerk of the Municipal Court, Bailiff, Chief Deputy Clerk and Deputy Clerk are hereby established in the city service.
(b) The written specifications of the responsibilities and duties applicable to the position of Clerk of the Municipal Court, as prepared and recommended by the Job Evaluation Committee, are hereby approved and adopted.

(a) Pursuant to R.C. § 1901.261, there is hereby established the Avon Lake Municipal Court Computer Fund.
(b) All moneys collected pursuant to § 298.03 shall be paid to the office of the Finance Director for deposit in the Avon Lake Municipal Court Computer Fund, to be disbursed only upon order of the Municipal Court and subject to an appropriation by Council in an amount no greater than the actual cost to the Court of procuring and maintaining computer systems for the office of the Clerk of Court.
(c) All entries in the newly established Fund shall encompass all transactions as appropriate effective on, and retroactive to, July 1, 1993.

The Clerk of the Avon Lake Municipal Court shall, effective July 1, 1993, include a fee of $10 per case in its schedule of fees and costs on the filing of each cause of action, and on the docketing and indexing of each aid in execution filed that is equivalent to one described in R.C. § 2903.20(A), (Q) or (T), which fee shall be deposited into the Municipal Court Computer Fund pursuant to § 298.02.
