CHAPTER 1099: CITY JAIL

1099.01 Designation as a 12-hour facility
Editor’s note:
   Resolution 38-96, passed February 12, 1996, authorized the Mayor to enter into a Minimum Security Misdemeanant Jail Affiliation Agreement with the Lorain County Commissioners for the purpose of constructing and operating a minimum security misdemeanant jail facility. Copies of said resolution and of the Agreement may be obtained, at cost, from the Clerk of Council.
§ 1099.01 DESIGNATION AS A 12-HOUR FACILITY.
   (a)   The City Jail is hereby designated as a 12-hour facility in accordance with the requirements of the Ohio Minimum Jail Standards.
   (b)   All persons who are required to be incarcerated for periods of greater than 12 hours shall be transferred to the County Jail or other appropriate facility.
