A street numbering system shall be adopted for Lake Road within the city which will be a continuation of the street numbering system adopted by the City of Cleveland, Ohio, and successively continued westward from the City of Cleveland through the Cities of Lakewood, Rocky River and Bay Village, so that the street numbering system on Lake Road within the city will commence with the next consecutive numbers after the last numbers established on the north and south sides of Lake Road in the City of Bay Village and continue thence consecutively westward through the city.

The system of numbering of streets, roads, avenues, highways and properties meeting or bordering on Lake Road within the city, as disclosed and fixed by the “Street Number Maps,” numbered one to nine, inclusive, marked “Sheets No. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9” and made a part of this section by reference, is hereby approved and adopted.

A system of street numbering for all streets, roads, avenues and thoroughfares, other than Lake Road, within the city is hereby established.
The Public Works Director is hereby directed to extend upon the copies of the county tax maps kept in the Municipal Building, the system of street numbers adopted for all streets, roads, avenues and thoroughfares within the city, other than Lake Road.
The system of street numbering for all streets, roads, avenues and thoroughfares within the city, other than Lake Road, as illustrated upon the copies of the county tax maps is hereby approved and copies of the tax maps, to the extent that they illustrate the system adopted and the numbers thus established, are hereby incorporated by reference and made a part of this chapter.
