ARTICLE I. IN GENERAL

Sec. 2-1. Financial reports, copy of audit required from organizations receiving donations from city.

It shall be the duty of the chief executive or financial officer of all eleemosynary corporations, civic organizations or other organizations by whatsoever name called, to which an appropriation or donation of public funds is made from the city treasury, for any purpose whatsoever, to prepare and provide to the city periodic financial reports showing all receipts and disbursements of the organization. No appropriation or donation shall be made to any organization which shall not agree to have its financial records audited annually, and such organization shall provide the city with a copy of its annual audited financial report as soon as such report is available.
