(a) The North Carolina Plumbing Code (North Carolina State Building Code, Volume II, Plumbing), together with all supplements and amendments thereto, ratified and adopted by the North Carolina Building Code Council, in full effect and having the force of law within the territorial jurisdiction of the city under the provisions of G.S. 143- 138 et seq., is affirmed to be the plumbing code for the city and is incorporated by reference in this section as fully and completely as if written verbatim in this section.
(b) Not less than three copies of such code are now filed as public records in the division of building inspections.
