Sec. 19-87. Defacing or removing devices.
(a)   It shall be unlawful for any person to deface, injure, knock down or remove posted, painted or erected signs, signals or devices provided by this chapter.
(b)   Violation of this section shall be an infraction and shall be punishable as provided in N.C. Gen. Stat. § 14-4.
