There is created a non-reverting fund to be known as the Local Road and Bridge Matching Grant Fund (“Fund”) hereby established under the number 258. The fund shall receive monies from INDOT via their Local Road and Bridge Matching Grant Fund, as well as any local match funds transferred from the LOIT Special Distribution Fund, the Rainy Day Fund, the Motor Vehicle Highway Fund and any other fund that is eligible for a local road or bridge project as designated by the Common Council through a proper ordinance or resolution as required. Appropriations from the fund shall be made only for the purpose of expenditures authorized or provided for by guidelines established and approved by the Community Crossings Grant program and must be approved by the Department of Local Government Finance (“DLGF”) according to their established procedures.
