Signage restrictions shall be imposed to limit and reduce the negative impacts of sign clutter. All signs shall comply with all provisions of the city sign code unless otherwise provided herein.
A. Wall: All wall signs shall be composed of solid individual letters attached to the building fascia, or individual letters of anodized aluminum, galvanized metal, or illuminated self- contained with translucent or opaque plastic faces set in anodized aluminum returns and trim. Allowable wall signage shall be calculated in accordance with the parameters set forth for the professional commerce park (PCP) district within title 9, chapter 18, "Signs", of the city code.
B. Ground:
1. Building/Tenant Identification Signs: One ground sign in accordance with the professional commerce park (PCP) district standards shall be permitted at each public street entrance drive provided that a minimum one hundred fifty foot (150') separation between any other ground sign is maintained. Identification of any tenant or building located within the boundaries of the PUD shall be allowed on the ground signs regardless if they are located within the same parcel as the sign.
2. Complex Identification Signs: One ground monument sign which is limited to displaying only the name of the complex or development ("Mercy West Lakes" or as otherwise named) shall be allowed at each of the corners of University Avenue and West Lakes Parkway; 59th Place and University Avenue; 59th Place and 60th Street; and Westown Parkway and 60th Street. Said signs shall be designed as a landscape sign and shall not exceed ten feet (10') in height with a minimum setback of fifteen feet (15') from the street right of way. These signs and associated landscaping shall be designed to respect sight triangles so as to not block visibility at the intersections. (Ord. 1750, 5-7-2007)
