The general location and type of access drives to parcels within the Galleria Development are indicated on the specific plan map. Final locations and drive configurations shall be reviewed and approved as part of a site specific traffic analysis in conjunction with the site plan review for each lot.
The specific plan map indicates the ultimate intended types of accesses. Temporary full access locations are currently allowed at the following locations:
A. South 64th Street south of Mills Civic Parkway at the northernmost drive (immediately south of lot 1, plat 10 and lot 3, plat 5);
B. South 64th Street south of Mills Civic Parkway at the southernmost drive (access into parcels I and K);
C. Stagecoach Drive south of Mills Civic Parkway at the northernmost drive (immediately south of lot 5, plat 6 and lot 6, plat 5);
D. South 68th Street south of Mills Civic Parkway at the midpoint of plat 7 (into parcel K); and
E. South 60th Street south of Mills Civic Parkway at the south boundary of lot 1, plat 6.
All of these access locations are temporary and will be closed in the future thus restricting turn movements to right in/right out movements only. Timing of median closures shall be at such time as the city determines the level of service requires closure of a specific temporary full access location. Permanent medians will be installed or extended by the applicant to limit these locations to a right in/right out turn movement only. Construction of the closure measures shall be by and at the financial cost of the developer(s) of the Galleria Development or as otherwise privately assigned. The design of the medians and subsequent modifications to lane markings shall be approved by the city prior to construction. Completion of the closure is to occur no later than three (3) months from notice from the city, subject to weather conditions.
Signage associated with access drives shall be procured and installed consistent with the "Manual Of Uniform Traffic Control Devices" (MUTCD) and the signing/pavement marking conventions of the city. Maintenance and replacement of private street signage shall be the responsibility of the developer. (Ord. 1920, 5-31-2011)
