The Mayor shall appoint, subject to the approval of the Council, 1 five (5) persons to serve as Trustees. Trustees appointed shall serve staggered six (6) year terms expiring on December 31. No public officer or salaried employee of the City may serve on the Board. The Council shall, by resolution, set the compensation of Board members. (1985 Code §§6-1.03, 6-1.04; 1993 Code)
