(A) This title shall be known and cited as "The Zoning Ordinance of the City of Wendell, Idaho."
(B) The purpose of this ordinance are to provide a comprehensive-design to lessen congestion in the streets, to secure from fire, panic and other damages, to promote health and the general welfare, to provide adequate light and air, to prevent overcrowding of land, to avoid undue concentration of population, to facilitate the adequate provision for transportation, water, sewage, streets, parks and other requirements, all with the purpose of conserving the value of buildings and land and to encourage the most appropriate use of land within said City.
