(A) It shall be unlawful for any person to deal, play or carry on, open or cause to be opened, or to conduct either as owner, employee or lessee, whether for hire or not, any games of faro, Monte, roulette, lasquenet, rouge et noir, rudeo or slot machines for chance, or any games played with cards, dice or any other device, or money, bank checks, chips, credit or any other representative of value, within the limits of the city.
(B) It shall be unlawful for any person to knowingly permit any of the games prohibited in subsection (A) of this section, to be played, conducted or dealt in any house or room owned or rented by such person in whole or in part. (Ord. 9, 2-4-1910)
